Meet Cherie Carty
What are your professional accomplishments and credentials?
I am an RN who began my career as a Paramedic and earned my certification in Basic Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Prehospital Trauma Life Support. I then changed my focus by earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. Eight years later my heart was calling me back to the medical field and I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Marquette University followed by a Master of Business Administration from UWM. I worked for 18 years in the Healthcare Clinical Systems field, after which I found my true love – Healthcare Management, which brought me here to Regency!

I have worked in various aspects of the medical field for 25+ years, starting as a Paramedic and a Patient Care Assistant while in Nursing School, advancing into Healthcare Management, including 18 years in Healthcare Clinical Systems Management.

Describe what you do in a nutshell.
I oversee campus operations at our New Berlin campus.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy interacting with residents both as an administrator and nurse.
When you're not at work, where would we find you?
When I’m not working, I’m probably in Tae Kwon Do class, walking, hiking, or biking our lovely state parks.
