Meet Mara Henningsen
What are your professional accomplishments and credentials?
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Business & Management from Alverno College. I am also a recipient of the Milwaukee Business Journal "40 Under 40" and Alverno College Alumni of the Year awards.
When did you join Regency?
I joined Regency New Berlin in June 2021.
How long have you been in this line of work?
I have been working in the healthcare industry for 20 years.

Describe what you do in a nutshell.
I oversee daily operations at our New Berlin Independent and Assisted Living campus.
What do you like most about your job?
I love people and their stories, smiles and hugs. I love making meaningful connections and building relationships. My soul is fed when I can be of service to others. I live by the adage that if one life can breathe easier, I have succeeded.
When you're not at work, where would we find you?
When I am not working, you can find me: spending time with my husband David, our two daughters (Mikaela and Melissa) and our granddaughter (Kaiyah Rosalie), traveling, reading, writing, watching movies (I'm a Wonder Woman fanatic!), listening to music, attending live concerts, dancing/Zumba and enjoying dinners out at local restaurants. I am also active with my alma mater. I teach a leadership course at the college, assess MBA students, and I have served on the Alverno College School of Business Advisory Board.
