Meet Nancy Andes
What are your professional accomplishments and credentials?
I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2004. I spent 13 years as a Medical/Surgical RN at Waukesha Memorial Hospital before joining Regency.
When did you join Regency?
How long have you been in this line of work?
What adjectives do people use most to describe you?
Friendly, caring, helpful, team player, positive.
Describe what you do in a nutshell.
As the Director of Health Services, I am responsible for the health and well-being of the residents. I am in communication with physicians, families, and residents with regards to medical issues and also manage the CNA staff and Nurse Supervisors. But more importantly, I listen to the residents. We give them the support they need and encourage independence whenever possible to give a higher quality of life to the people who live here.
What do you like most about your job?
You know, I really love the curmudgeons of the world. For me, getting a little grin or seeing a twinkle in the eye of a grump means I did something right.
When you're not at work, where would we find you?
Hanging out with good friends, playing cards or yard games, usually at a campground somewhere.
