Regency provides a short-term Respite Care program for seniors who may need varied levels of assistance. Private furnished or unfurnished residences are available for seniors during times of illness, recovery from surgery or rehabilitation prior to returning home. Respite Care is available for between 7 and 28 days per stay.

Respite Care is there for caregivers who must fulfill career and business travel commitments, during a well-deserved vacation, or in managing personal and family responsibilities.

The Respite Care program is the ideal solution for seniors who need more help than can be provided at home, but are confused or undecided about their senior living options.

The Respite Care program allows seniors to “test-drive” a Regency Senior Community to experience Assisted Living or Attended Care before making longer-term lease commitments.

Respite Care can be customized to provide Assisted Living or Attended Care levels of support, as needed for 7-28 days. Assisted Living support provides scheduled assistance with the activities of daily living, such as bathing, hygiene, grooming, and dressing plus medical supervision and disbursement, medical dressing changes, diabetes testing/monitoring and advisory resources, according to personal need. Attended Care provides even greater assistance on a 24-hour scheduled and unscheduled basis.
