Meet Allan McPhedran
What are your professional accomplishments and credentials?
I am a graduate of the Monte Carlo Hotel School in Monaco and I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Lausanne Hotel School in Lausanne, Switzerland. I am also fluent in French and ServSafe Certified.
I have had the opportunity to work all over the world, including Monaco, Scotland, Switzerland, England, Bermuda, and New York. I came to Milwaukee in 2004 and worked as the Manager of Food and Nutrition at a local Medical Center before joining the Regency team.

Describe what you do in a nutshell.
I manage a group of individuals responsible for high standards of service and excellence in the culinary field. I want to make sure our residents and guests receive the best service and food possible in a friendly and professional atmosphere. Using the feedback from the residents, industry trends and engaged culinary staff, I incorporate new menu items to increase the usage of our dining services and hire people that have similar goals, so we can reach them together to the benefit of the residents.
What do you like most about your job?
When I get feedback directly from the residents about service and the food and they are highly satisfied, I know my team has done a good job.
When you're not at work, where would we find you?
Managing my 3 fantasy football teams and taking my daughters to skating, ballet and birthdays parties.
