Meet Ally Carson
What are your professional accomplishments and credentials?
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater with a Degree in Psychology and Coaching. I utilized my degree to coordinate and manage services at a company providing in home services to kids and adults with disabilities. I worked my way up to management by providing quality service and training staff appropriately for difficult situations.
When did you join Regency?
I joined the Regency family in March of 2021.
How long have you been in this line of work?
I have been in the senior care field for 3 years. Prior to this, I worked with children and adults with disabilities for 8 years.
What adjectives do people use most to describe you?
Humble, Positive, Reasonable, Energetic, Responsible, Amusing.
Describe what you do in a nutshell.
I oversee Sales and Outreach at all Regency campuses. I work directly with our Director of Community Service staff to provide great customer service for those moving into our community as well as individuals/families looking to visit our community. As a team, we work hard to provide a smooth transition for seniors moving from their current homes into our communities. We are always strategizing and looking for ways to improve. Our team participates in networking events, and community service outings.
What do you like most about your job?
The Community. I found a place that I can go to work and love what I do. From the moment I started, I felt welcomed by staff, management and residents. Regency has many staff that have been here for 15+ years. For me, it’s not just a job, it is about being a valued part of the community.
When you're not at work, where would we find you?
On bleachers: In gymnasiums and football stands. I have 4 kids, all of whom play sports. Depending on the season, you can find me watching basketball games, wrestling matches, football games, track meets, and lacrosse games. If I am not at a sports games, you will find me running outside, on a hike, at the gym or snuggled with my dogs. Special Events that you may find me at are action movies on the big screen or Stand-up comedy shows. My husband and I are also big foodies, since he is a chef. We like to try new hip restaurants trying all sorts of exotic or different types of food.
